Box.net
Well - it was easy enough to start a box.net account but so far no joy at uploading a file. Will have to confer with one of my trustee colleagues....... or Tosca!!

I did join Twitter awhile ago but had trouble getting on to my blog page at work to talk about it.
Not sure I've got the jist of it yet so will keep persevering (since Tosca recommended it!)I do think it is most useful to those with cellphones that have internet access.

Lesson 16 Library 2.0
This was a brilliant few pages to read and digest - Icebergs made me laugh especially the Just in case collections - I've been in public libraries long enough to see the progress we are making. I've had a strong thought through these readings that as Public Librarians we have quite a task to be embracing the future trends, offering the current trends and still serve those in our communities that are happy with where our services are or have been. I'm sure we are up to the task - knowing our communities.
This learning is essential for all library staff to be aware of what is quite a quick transition into the Web 2.0 menu of delights.
