Wiki sounds like a creature out of Star Wars - furry and fierce. Actually the concept of the Wiki is really innovative and brave - letting anyone edit your content. The examples I viewed didn't trigger any huge inspiration of how this piece of technology could be used for libraries. We can already capture customer ratings on the books and I prefer the ability of people to add comments rather than rub out the previous and add new. The demonstration on how a Wiki works gave an insight to my work email inbox where emails fly around and totally clog my inbox. This new innovation would suggest a Wiki for projects - I would suggest a bit of both and sometimes the process work is still useful and not just the latest draft.
